1. Operational Terms & General Conditions
By registering a store instance on Nile, you enter into a legally binding agreement with Nile Inc. governing your access and use of our unified e-commerce operating system. If you do not agree to these terms, you are prohibited from using the platform. You must be at least 18 years of age or have valid corporate registration in your respective region to create a merchant store.
2. Platform Licenses & Custom Configurations
Subject to compliance with these Terms, Nile grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to deploy our website builder, inventory controls, checkout modules, and AI tools. Nile reserves the right to suspend any store instances that violate regional compliance rules, list prohibited items, or engage in deceptive routing practices.
3. Billing Policies, Fees & Cycle Renewals
Nile applies a structured commercial billing system across all regional tiers:
- 3-Month Billing Cycle: All platform subscription tiers are billed upfront in three-month blocks. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each term unless canceled prior to the next billing cycle.
- Custom Domain Registry: Free custom domain integrations are active for the first 12 months of eligible tiers only. Domain renewal fees for subsequent years are managed and paid separately.
- Transaction Routing Percentages: Local transaction gateways processing fees are applied directly to cleared orders. Nile reserves the right to alter billing rates with thirty (30) days notice.
4. Prohibited Content and Merchant Conduct
Merchants are strictly prohibited from using Nile to sell counterfeit products, weapons, prescription drugs without verification, adult content, or unregulated financial services. Violation of our content policies results in immediate store suspension and the withholding of pending settlements pending compliance investigation.
5. Limitation of Liability & Warranties
Nile provides its commerce operating system on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that platform operations will be entirely uninterrupted, error-free, or secure from zero-day security vulnerabilities. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nile's total liability for any claim under these terms is limited to the amount paid to Nile during the preceding three-month subscription term.
